In our weekly series, we talk content and cocktails with maude, a modern sexual wellness brand based out of Brooklyn. Each Wednesday, we’ll offer recommended rituals for an intimate evening at home.
This week, our East Coast Sales Director and cocktail aficionado Robby Nelson pointed us toward the 50/50 martini, a classic cocktail beloved for its heavy pour of vermouth. If you prefer a zero-proof drink, try out the simple swap below.
Maude’s burn candle is the perfect way to get things going. Burn the candle until partly liquid and extinguish the flame. Slowly pour the warm liquid onto skin or apply directly with your fingertips.
Simmer down with nightcap, a playlist featuring the soulful sounds of Billie Holiday and Coralie Clement. Find the full playlist here.
1.5 oz AMASS Dry Gin
1.5 oz Dry Vermouth
Combine ingredients and stir with ice (chopsticks work great!) for 20 seconds or until very cold. Strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a lemon twist, olive, your mouth as you take a drink, etc.
If you aren't drinking…
Replace the gin with your favorite non-alcoholic spirit. Vermouth is notoriously tricky to swap, but Robby suggests using a white tea instead.
Offer valid on orders of AMASS Personal Care. Offer not valid on AMASS Spirits. Order value must meet or exceed $50.00. Orders must be shipped within the contiguous US. Offer not valid for shipping to Hawaii or Alaska. Cannot be combined with other offers.
