AMASS Vodka with Marigold, Chamomile, and Lemon celebrates Nordic distilling tradition and the rich, vibrant history of Scandinavian drinking culture. Inspired by the region's long-standing spirit tradition, Master Distiller Morgan McLachlan worked with craft distillers in Copenhagen to develop the liquid before moving production to Central California.

There, the process begins with our botanicals, which are meticulously distilled to create a heart with subtle layers of flowers folded around fresh, hand-grated citrus. The result is a glycerin-free spirit that uses marigold petals in place of additives to create an elegant spirit with a smooth mouthfeel, suited for a variety of cocktails and seasons.

Marigold
Chamomile

Marigold

Marigold (Tagetes patula) is a flower in the Asteraceae family native to the south of Mexico, though now naturalized around the world. The genus name of the botanical – Tagetes – comes from the Etruscan prophet Tages, born from the plowing of the earth. The name likely refers to the ease with which marigolds come out each year.

Chamomile

Chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla or Chamaemelum nobile) is a flowering plant in the Asteraceae family native to southern and eastern Europe. Its sweet scent, soft, floral taste, and mild sedative properties make it well-suited for tea time or happy hour.

Recipes to Sip Slowly

Bloody Mary
Ingredients

2 oz AMASS Botanic Vodka
3 oz Tomato Juice
2 tsp Lemon Juice
2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
2 tsp Olive Brine
1 – 2 tsp Prepared Horseradish, optional
5 dashes of Tabasco, optional
Pinch of celery salt, garlic powder and black pepper

Garnishes: Tabasco, carrot peel, banana pepper, cocktail onion, Castalvetrano olives, and a celery stick dipped in celery salt and Tajin

Recipe
Start with a small plate of Tabasco and a small plate with a mix of celery salt and Tajin. Rim half circumference of a highball glass with Tabasco, then salt mixture. In a mixing glass, stir together tomato juice, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, olive brine, horseradish, Tabasco, celery salt, garlic powder and black pepper. Fill your salt rimmed highball glass with ice, then add AMASS Botanic Vodka. Top it with the Bloody Mary mix, give it one more gentle stir and garnish.

Ingredients

2 oz AMASS Botanic Vodka
¾ oz Lemon Juice
¾ oz Chamomile Honey Syrup
Lemon Wheel, for garnish
Chamomile Flowers, for garnish

Recipe
To make the chamomile honey syrup, combine one part honey with one part chamomile tea. In a cocktail shaker, add vodka, lemon juice, and chamomile honey syrup. Fill shaker with ice, cover, and shake vigorously until outside of the shaker is very cold, about 12 seconds. Strain cocktail through a Hawthorne strainer into a rocks glass with one large ice cube. Top with lemon wheel and chamomile flowers for garnish.
Calm Collins
Ingredients

2 oz AMASS Botanic Vodka
¾ oz Lemon Juice
¾ oz Chamomile Simple Syrup*
Club Soda
Lemon Wheel, for garnish

Chamomile Simple Syrup:
Make strong chamomile tea; combine ½ cup strong chamomile tea and ½ cup white sugar, stir until sugar is dissolved; keep refrigerated when not using.

Recipe
Shake and serve in a Collins glass with ice; top with club soda.
CPH Martini
Ingredients

3 oz AMASS Botanic Vodka
½ oz Dry Vermouth
½ oz Pickled Vegetable Juice
Skewer of Pickled Vegetables, for garnish

Recipe
Pour gin, vermouth, and vegetable juice into a mixing glass/cocktail shaker with ice and stir or shake, depending on your preference. Strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with a skewer of pickled vegetables.
Snowcap
Ingredients

1 oz AMASS Botanic Vodka
1½ oz Oat Milk
¾ oz Coffee Liqueur

Recipe
Stir and strain ingredients into a rocks glass with ice. Serve garnished with a star anise.

Quality Vodka

The Botanic Vodka is very good. The alcohol can be overpowering to the added flavors at times, but was delicious in mixed drinks.
