Sunny lemon and zippy ginger are mellowed by milky sandalwood, green tea, and lavender for a scent that cuts through the humming humidity of a Kyoto summer. Grapefruit and cedarwood join in, playing their own parts of puckering citrus and soft pine.


In Kyoto, reverence hangs thick in the air. Glimmering summer sun reflects onto the Temple of the Golden Pavilion, itself mirrored onto the glassy surface of the Kyōko-chi. Sheathed in gold leaf, the Temple ripples in the water under towering limonene pines. Is what we’re seeing real, or a reflection of a reflection?

Inspired by the yellow gemstone citrine, Pseudo Citrine evokes the lemon-fresh scent of this lotion while offering an energizing ritual.

Great scent, Not so great soap

While the scent is great, the soap itself is quite chunky and clogs the pump resulting in a lot of wasted product because you are having to remove solidified pieces from the pump or you have to exert extra pressure on the pump and end up with a bit of a mess. It might have been a bad batch but I was disappointed as I had high hopes for this soap.

Nice new scent, good hand sanitizer

Bright, citrus-like scent to this hand sanitizer. The pump-spray mechanism is an ideal way to deliver hand sanitizer. The product goes on nicely and evaporates in a quick manner after use.

Pseudo Citrine scent

I like this scent a lot, it might be my favorite, but I’m not sure. All the scents are fresh and definitely different. I’m glad to have bought these.

Not your usual citrus!

I've often felt that there were two opinions of citrus scents. You either loved them or gagged at them. This product changed my mind, for the better. It's like a freshly-cut lemon or grapefruit, plus a very subtle herbal undertone. The formula is gentle to hands, with no drying or stinging. Well-worth a try!
